Advocate Yoav Nevo is a graduate of the Law School and the School of Business Management of the Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC) in Herzliya, with an LLB in law and a BA (specializing in finance) in Business Administration.

A member of the Israel Bar Association since 2001, an active lawyer, specializing in business law.

Adv. Nevo articled for a year with the law firm Ofer, Vargon, Avnon & Associates during which he dealt with various aspects of civil law, among them corporate law and securities, including corporate administration (private and public); reports to the Corporate Registrar, to the Israel Securities Authority and the Stock Exchange; current reports to the ISA; the preparation and execution of tender offers; real estate regulations including contractor sale agreements, purchase and sale agreements of second-hand dwellings, commercial rental agreements etc.

After his acceptance to the Bar, Adv. Nevo entered the employ of the law firm of Amit, Pollack, Matalon and Associates, working in its real estate department. There he dealt with numerous real estate transactions, including private and commercial rental agreements, sale agreements of second-hand dwellings, agreements for purchase from contractors, as well as composite agreements. In addition, he handled a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation cases, including representing a large commercial bank in cases in which he gained proficiency in banking litigation.

In his final year with Amit, Pollack, Matalon and Associates, along with his other duties, Adv. Nevo served as legal advisor to a municipal water corporation, one of the first established after the passing of The Water and Sewage Act of 5761 – 2001. In his capacity as the corporation's legal advisor, Adv. Nevo prepared and executed numerous tenders in accordance with the law of Mandatory Tenders 5752 – 1992 and helped in preparing the corporation's prospectus prior to its issue to the public.

After three years with Amit, Pollack, Matalon and Associates, Adv. Nevo established his own independent firm, Yoav Nevo Legal Offices. Subsequently, he has dealt with litigation in various cases involving commercial matters and the execution of court orders.

Adv. Nevo appears in proceedings at the various levels of courts and instances. Also, he serves and advises companies and individuals in the routine conduct of their affairs in a range of fields. These include drawing up of a variety of commercial agreements in accordance with corporate law, such as agreements among founding partners, partnership agreements, establishment of firms, employment contracts, contracts with clients and suppliers, as well as bankruptcy and receivership proceedings.

Adv. Nevo' specializes in the whole gamut of real estate transactions including private and commercial rental agreements, sale agreements of second-hand dwellings, agreements for purchase from contractors, as well as composite agreements.

Adv. Nevo is a volunteer in the Legal Aid Programme of the Israel Bar Association, in which he acts for clients in need of legal representation or defense of their rights, but lack the means to hire legal services.
